Perfect Provisions, Inc. is a mobile soup kitchen serving the people of Charlotte. We provide a hot delicious meal all year near the men’s shelter, the women’s shelter as well as an apartment community. Not only is food provided, but clothing and other essential items are provided as well.

We also provide an all year around school a bag lunch once a week they take home for dinner (they also get enough bag lunches for their siblings).

Everyone we come into contact with is treated with love, dignity and respect. We feel this is just, if not more, important than the meal and clothing that is provided.

Proverbs. 21:13. He who shuts his ears to the cries of the poor will be ignored in his own time of need.

“We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty…” – Mother Teresa

After serving twenty-two years in the United States Army, I retired as a Master Sergeant in 2003. Upon retiring, the Lord gave me the grace to work in various areas of ministry for him. I’ve always had the heart for the ministries of evangelism, missions and helps. One day the Lord spoke to my heart and told me that I would have a soup kitchen. I received this revelation with great joy and excitement.

I started out by buying one week’s worth of groceries while seeking to find families in need. I served with local ministries who fed the homeless and less fortunate in the Indian Trail, Monroe, and Stallings areas. During this time, I was also attending Presbyterian Surgical Technology School (2006).  A few years later, in 2011, Perfect Provisions Inc., was birthed, but was not in full operation. I sought the Lord for one year solid, fasting and praying, asking the Lord for his will to be done with concept and business he had given to me.

Without a doubt, I was given this calling by the Lord, for this city and the surrounding area. After nearly eight years of consistent missionary work and creative ministries, I’m looking towards the next chapter of where the Father is going to take Perfect Provisions, Inc.. I have so much passion for the people and a great love for Jesus Christ.

Hi, my name is Debbie Pickett. I am currently the Treasurer for Perfect Provisions Soup Kitchen. I have been volunteering with Perfect Provisions since March, 2013. At that time I was looking for a ministry to volunteer with and came across Perfect Provisions Soup Kitchen. Shortly thereafter I began meeting Barbara at her house and helped make brown-bag dinners for the homeless children at Thomasboro Academy. It has been four years now and I am truly blessed to have been a part of this ministry and to watch it grow into what it is today. Perfect Provisions pours out love on the homeless and less fortunate. It is the hands and feet of Jesus Christ!

I was born and raised in Washington DC. and married Charles Galloway in 1972 and we have six children. In August of 1978 I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior.  After this I went to heaven for one night and my life was changed forever.

I was a praise and worship leader for over 20 years and under the covering of Outreach Christian Center for 25 years. In the year of 2000 I was ordained as an Evangelist and was the Interim Pastor at Seat Pleasant Baptist where I was Ordained Evangelist under the covering of Pastor Daniel Cook in 2001.

My husband and I founded He is Faithful to His Word Church in August 2005 and was consecrated by Apostle Kevin Johnson as Apostle in July 2009.  My motto is give the Lord free Reign that is His just due. We have a strong ministry built on service and compassion to those in need.  I am a board member of Perfect Provision, a ministry in North Carolina that feed the homeless and leads many to Christ. I am also the covering for Advocates at the Table Against Domestic Violence and a director in the Homeless to Wholeness Ministry.

Our names are Molly and Jay Gregory and we are the Directors of Perfect Provisions Market Place.  We have a huge servants heart for God.  We have been serving together in so many different ways since we started dating when we 16 years old. We now love helping and serving our neighbors through Perfect Provisions.  We currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina with our three kids Abby(21), Hunter(20) and Mackenzie(16).  Many a times when the kids are home from college you will see them serving with us as a family, along with the many many friends they also bring. Molly can usually be found in the “Marketplace” organizing the days volunteers and making friends with the neighbors that we serve. Super Jay is typically found running around handling everything. No lie, he moves and works fast and knows what needs to be done next.  He is such a vital part of the team. We both look forward to meeting you and working with you when you come to help us serve our neighbors in need.

I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and I am proud to still call it HOME! I have a desire to help make my hometown the best, most welcoming city possible by sharing the love and light of Jesus to all God’s children and serving with Perfect Provisions is a great way to do that!

I am married (31 years) to my high school sweetheart, Greg, and we have two children, Courtney and Taylor, and one grandchild, Dwayne Gregory.

I am co-owner of Art By Me, a company which has offered art based fundraising programs to schools, daycares and other organizations for over 21 years. This keeps me very busy but it is so fulfilling to help schools raise needed funds and to offer parents treasured keepsakes from their child’s art.

Besides volunteering with Perfect Provisions, I love to travel, spend time at the beach, fish, watch Panthers football, and take pictures!

I also am an advocate for Alzheimer’s awareness, and run “Kids Klubb” for at risk elementary age kids through the outreach ministry of my church, Meadowlake Presbyterian in Huntersville, NC.

I have been a volunteer with Perfect a Provisions for over 2 years and love documenting the impact of this ministry through pictures of our caring, loving volunteers, guests and events.
